On how this site was made.

01 — Type

Archivo.

Sets the display type and body copy. A neo-grotesque with enough character at large sizes to hold the hero without adding decoration at reading sizes.

IBM Plex Mono.

Carries labels, section numbers, captions, navigation, and the footer. Gives the site its technical-document voice.

02 — Platform

Astro.

Static site generation. Ships HTML first, JavaScript only where it earns its place.

Vercel.

Hosting and continuous deploys from the Git repo.

Squarespace.

Domain registrar for jessejusek.com. DNS points to Vercel.

03 — Made With

Claude Design.

Screens were drafted from written specifications, then reviewed and revised by hand. The tool composes; the design decisions are mine.

Claude Code.

The Astro components, CSS, and deploy pipeline were written in a running conversation. I directed the work and reviewed every commit before it shipped.

04 — Design

Direction.

Classical Swiss on warm paper. Twelve-column grid, hairline rules, mono-numbered sections. Restraint is the point.

Palette.

Paper #F6F3EC, ink #111, gray #6B6B6B, accent red #D12E10. Red is reserved for interactive states.
